I know this article is about modifications to commercial building for saving energy, but I would suggest many totally replace their windows. There are many great commercial window repair and installation companies out there. Most older windows,even if covered in a film or even insulation still are not efficient. Justa thought.

Also, the way I fund my EE T's is through revenue I generate with demand response. I recommend checking into it. I work with EnergyConnect (www.energyconnectinc.com) because they have free web software that allows me to track my energy consumption and make decisions around times I can make money from the grid by curtailing a small portion of energy use for a couple hours or so.

I would add a T.
Total Solutions Protection's Transient Voltage Surge Suppression devices. When I applied these for power quality only, our power quality maintenance service calls reduced from 33 per month to 3 per month. However, later I found that when added to lighting systems, the lighting maintenance costs reduced 25 to 30% and tube life increased dramatically.
